Dom Perignon Vintage 1998 tasting

Christmas appears and people are in streets in search of their last presents.
I don’t want to make you jealous but I decided to do things in a big way because in spite of the crisis, Christmas has to remain a magic moment and let people dream.

One of my loves : Château Haut Brion 1982

Hey Folks!

Let me introduce you nearby Château Haut-Brion Red 1982. Don’t you imagine how does it taste?? Obviously not! I’m hearing you “Come on tell us” so I will try to share this slice of dream with you guys.

First of all, this wine makes you really humble and I do acknowledge that it doesn’t matter me too much. Anyway, the aromatics are really complex with scorched earth, smoked herbs. The silky-texture makes you so freaking good and it damns you to hell right away! The fruits are beautiful and the 45seconds length is like 45seconds in Space.

Why I wasn't at the "Grand Tasting", Paris ?

If you follow any #Winelovers from France, you would have known that every one of them was in Paris this weekend, tweeting and talking about "Le grand Tasting"...

Everyone ? No ! Not me. And I'm sure you are all wondering but WHY ?

You know, I really just hate being in a crowd of people who don't know anything about wine. I also hate being surrounded by a mass number of debutants, speaking loudly and who are there to taste wine without even wanting to know anything about it.

Lastly, I most especially hate when half of them show no respect for the wine they are tasting and gulp it back as opposed to spitting it into designated spittoons-thats when you find yourself in an overcrowded swimming pool of hot an smelly drunk people.

Wine Neophytes : "People who know nothing about wine and only drink it to appear interested, or interesting".

And you know ? When there are so many regions and too many wines, how can you really appreciate it ? And who really wants to go to a fair where both beaujolais and wine from Languedoc are being represented ?

A real wine lover only drinks the most prestigious labels!

My dear newbie, though it may be quite suitable for you, even this fair it's not up to my standards... But do try to remember, be as pretentious as you can and only try Champagne and Bordeaux. Bettanne et Dessauve are quite good at tasting so also try to participate in one of their master classes. It's a hard job to be a wine snob, but work hard and maybe, just maybe, one day you will succeed...

Deutz Classic can save your Thanksgiving !

Today, we are giving thanks for blessing our harvest and the previous year.

Well I won’t come back on the Vintage 2013 quality in France … but I rather say, THANKS too!!

Obviously, Thanksgiving has its roots in religious but what is more interesting is what to drink to celebrate …

I'm not a Wine Snob ! I'm just telling you the truth...

Welcome in the real wine’s world !!

I will tell you the truth about WINE with some of my assistants…

The reality is that nobody knows wine like me… Our beautiful wine world is contaminated by a lot of amateurism and my job is to educate you about this beverage of god with the #FrenchTouch!
